Break The Habit!

This is something embarrassing to admit but I have become one of You. 

Officially, my middle name is Procrastinate (Hi everyone. You can call me Procrastinate -____- ). I am a master when it comes to delaying tactics. Giving excuses comes naturally to me and I take my own sweet time in completing a simple task. I would wait until the very last minute to do something, saying stuff like:

"Alaa, this is too easy *laughs* I know this like the back of my hand! It would only take minutes." 

Yes, so arrogantly.

I have put off doing a lot of things in my long list of Things-To-Do and an attempt to do the simplest task seems hopeless. Even an hour is not enough for me to fold a mountain of my clean laundry. So you can imagine just how high is the mountain. 

I won't upload any photos of the mountain here as I'm afraid it might leave mental scars on you. Instead, here are two photos to show the strikingly different between 1) Me-Then and 2) Me-Now :(

I keep on saying to myself, "You need to prioritize" and that is what I'm doing. Handling this mess one baby step at a time. I'm sorting them all on a 1-day basis. If No.3 and No.7 are needed the next day, they will be my sole focus for the day. 

Let's just hope I can clear this mess before someone gets hurt!

Beware of Greeks Bearing Gifts!

Hey, the title is a bit too much, no? LOL

My dearest Hubb bought me an iPod Touch 4gen in January due to my outstanding result, which was 4.00! (Y)

He actually promised an iPhone 4 but due to its unappealing design, (read: IT WAS SO DARN EXPENSIVE) I opted for an iPod instead.

Months after that, my dearest Hubb again, surprised me with another gift, a Blackberry for my birthday!

Both came in packages, iPod was delivered in January while BB was in April.

I was beyond shocked with these gifts. I was as happy as a clam at high tide, until he laid out, THE CONDITION. To cut his long-fatherly-lecture short, he basically forced me to complete my Master's Degree this semester! I had one last subject and a minor thesis (project paper), all to be submitted by the end of June.

It was tough. I even had nightmares at night about not being able to complete everything in time. I was busy tossing and turning instead of resting. I struggled. Not with my one last subject. Not with the thesis.

But..., with the temptation of indulging myself with his gifts.

Fast forward, now it's June and Alhamdulillah, I managed. All there is left is to make hardcover for my thesis, which I will do next week (I'm waiting for a pink form from my supervisor).

And after about 5 months, last Tuesday was my first time trying FaceTime with a friend, F.

Please excuse my atrocious Hana Tajima attempt (it was Hubb's blankie LOL). 

I was sick and had to stay in bed for a week. Will share that story later when I'm, ehem, strong enough.

I'm glad everything falls to plan and now I have all the time I need to change by BB ringtones or even change the wallpapers of both gadgets -___-

Freaky Friday!

At this juncture, I'm just swamped in homework! -______-

Friday is no longer the day I'm looking forward to since it indicates how near I am to my deadline.

I haven't even started with my Chapter 4, despite the fact that it's the easiest chapter of all. 

And to add to my long list to do, classes are starting this Monday. Seriously, this Monday??? 

Will I survive? *prays*

Funny!

Sir, Yes Sir!

Ever wonder why military people say "Sir, yes Sir!" instead of a simple "Yes!" or even "Yes, Sir!"

I just don't get it!

But according to my little brother, it's a sign of respect and an acknowledgment. The first and the last word that come out of your mouth, must be Sir! Not just any sir but Sir! 

This is just one of the many rules they have. My brother who is currently in RMC often shares some of the secrets and I tell you one thing, life ain't easy there! -_-

A Typographical Error

I'm having all the time in the world and now I'm learning French! haha I'm just kidding.

I have always wanted to learn this language and my reason is the same like others, because it sounds GOOD and SEXY !!! *chuckles*

My hubby, who knows a little bit of French (he's so eksyen okay!) without fail will correct me every time I sing "Night of The Hunter" by 30 Seconds To Mars. He even cakap:

"Ntah apa la you sebut tu"

Anyway, the song's in English with few, very few French phrases. I really like the song so with the help of Google translate, I can know the English meaning of those phrases. Hurrah! 

Since I'm not familiar with this language at all, it is quite hard for me to type-out those phrases and I was struggling in doing this. Pity me huhh?

So, do you know that a simple mistake in typing a word will generate into another word that is off the context.

Okay, let me show you. I want to know the meaning of this phrase: La Nuit du Chasseur

but instead, I mistyped Chasseur into Chassur and this happened:

haha so funny! The Night Footwear?!! Like those towel slippers you normally get when you're in hotels or on plane? This is hysterically funny and out of context.

Yes, I have been hiding for more than 6 months and since life has been pretty hectic (well at least, for some of us) I have made a drastic move; making my blog private!

One out of so many reasons is because of the nasty comments I have been getting. Reason(s)? Well, don't ask me because I'm not very certain either.

and by whom? I can only assume.

But anyhow, I get the message that You're trying to tell me. I don't need to be a genius to figure that one out!

As I said earlier, I only have two hands, I'm juggling with so many things at once; my work, studies, families and those few friends I have. Maybe You don't know this, but my work as well as my studies needs me to stay in focus, at all time.

I'm not cocky or arrogant, but seriously, I have other serious matters to focus on, matters that involve life-and-death, vitally important decision that can cause people's life!!

But You, well You're condemning on too many things and some were my past, personal, very personal things, even I can't control them, anymore -_-

So, to end this twisted and thorny misunderstanding, I have decided after much deliberation, to accept all your advise and use it to the fullest and let's just hope one day I can be a better person. *amin*

Jokes aside, I don't want to pick a fight with You honestly. You are welcome to express whatever you feel and I will decide whether those comments should be approved here, or not. Okay?

Okay, I Don't Have A Way With Words

I feel like a naked soul, left alone with a painful feeling of humiliation and distress, which was caused by the unconsciousness of my own tongue, making the most embarrassing goof one can ever commit during a class presentation yesterday. 

I said,

"A vitamin is an organic compound required as a nutrient in tiny amounts

by an ORGASM ... organism!"

Oh my... Ouch!

I know that words can hurt your feelings (you know, like the song Don't Speak by No Doubt) but in this case, long awkward silent is worst! It broke my heart and left me with dismay... -_-
