Break The Habit!

This is something embarrassing to admit but I have become one of You.

Officially, my middle name is Procrastinate (Hi everyone. You can call me Procrastinate -____- ). I am a master when it comes to delaying tactics. Giving excuses comes naturally to me and I take my own sweet time in completing a simple task. I would wait until the very last minute to do something, saying stuff like:

"Alaa, this is too easy *laughs* I know this like the back of my hand! It would only take minutes."

Yes, so arrogantly.

I have put off doing a lot of things in my long list of Things-To-Do and an attempt to do the simplest task seems hopeless. Even an hour is not enough for me to fold a mountain of my clean laundry. So you can imagine just how high is the mountain.

I won't upload any photos of the mountain here as I'm afraid it might leave mental scars on you. Instead, here are two photos to show the strikingly different between 1) Me-Then and 2) Me-Now :(

Me-Then: My closet used to look like this. All neat and properly folded.

Me-Now: A glimpse of the horror -_____-"

I keep on saying to myself, "You need to prioritize" and that is what I'm doing. Handling this mess one baby step at a time. I'm sorting them all on a 1-day basis. If No.3 and No.7 are needed the next day, they will be my sole focus for the day.

Let's just hope I can clear this mess before someone gets hurt!

"Okay, Thank You Class. I'll See You Tomorrow!" (or online?)

It has been such a long time since my last entry here. I know. Many wonderful and not-so-wonderful things have happened since October 2009.

However, it puzzled me too much whenever I log in to this account. Why?

Well, I just couldn't understand why my students came here and left such comments just because of some videos of Britney Spears I uploaded here in MY PERSONAL blog. (see Video 1 and Video 2).

Okay, I apologize for the fact that she was half-naked and oh-so-beautiful that it kills everyone who sees the vid, but why the used of such language? If it's too 18sx for you or if it riled you up so bad, why watch it? You could have just skipped the videos and moved on to the next entries.

(Oh okay, there was no new entry... but You got the point!)

And because of you redneck people out there who have nothing better to do, I am forced to change my comments setting so such vulgar language will not mortify me and other readers/students.

And not just that, I had to permanently delete your comments and rejected some. (not that there were that many)

However, one of the comments managed to get my attention and I'm going to justify it here and not because I have to but because I WANT to.

"Is this what an alumni of IIUM teach?"

CORRECTION:

alumni: Plural
alumnus: Singular/Male
alumna Singular/Female

...

(speechless)

Excuse me?

1. I'm not teaching anything here.

2. This is MY PERSONAL BLOG in which the manifestation of my inner thoughts and feelings put in a concrete form, to be shared with others.

3. Oh God! I am not an USTAZAH! :-?

4. So now all students (and former students) of IIUM are USTAZ/AH?

5. And if you don't like Britney, Oh well, too bad then.

I have ONE question for you,

WHY ARE YOU HERE?!

As far as I can remember, I didn't, excuse me, I NEVER reveal this blog or even my FB account to any of my student in class. You look me up in Google, fully aware of your action by typing my full name like this,

Am I right? So that explains the figure 18,600...

By uploading such videos makes me a BAD TEACHER? Your heart-rending comments and judgments puzzled me till now...

*sighs*

I just hope my previous/future students will be more liberal, permissive, carefree so that you could understand that I'm just as normal as you guys..

Like HelloOoo..., I'm only 24!
(Okay, 25 this year...)

" We had FUN, right guys?! "

We Don't Need 8 Hours of Sleep.

Do we really need 8 hours of sleep? I don't think so! Lets just look at our mothers for instance or even students, do you really think they sleep that long?

No siree Bob!

So, yes. Doctors have been lying to us all along! :(

And no matter how busy we are, entertainment is a must! So I guess it explains why I went out to watch G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra with Shapx, Razip, Ebby and Syamril yesterday and had 3 games of bowling. Then makan and lepak at one of the mamak stalls in Jitra. Arrived home at about 11:30 pm.

Even after a long day, (earlier me and Shapx were looking for new closet) we could still indulge ourselves with series before shutting our eyes at 3am. Nice right?

Currently, I'm watching (again) a Japanese series, Beautiful Life (2000)

You see, who could resist Takuya Kimura huh?
In Samantha Thavasa ad with Beyonce Knowles

Shapx is watching his favorite The Sopranos (1999-2007)

The best part is Homework tak siap pe pun huhu... :-/

Click here for more info about Samantha Thavasa

[a Japanese brand (focuses on handbag and jewelry) featuring celebrities like Beyonce, Posh Spice, Paris Hilton etc and a bit cheaper than LV hehe]

So, why are you still sleeping, sleepy head?!
