Break The Habit!

This is something embarrassing to admit but I have become one of You. 

Officially, my middle name is Procrastinate (Hi everyone. You can call me Procrastinate -____- ). I am a master when it comes to delaying tactics. Giving excuses comes naturally to me and I take my own sweet time in completing a simple task. I would wait until the very last minute to do something, saying stuff like:

"Alaa, this is too easy *laughs* I know this like the back of my hand! It would only take minutes." 

Yes, so arrogantly.

I have put off doing a lot of things in my long list of Things-To-Do and an attempt to do the simplest task seems hopeless. Even an hour is not enough for me to fold a mountain of my clean laundry. So you can imagine just how high is the mountain. 

I won't upload any photos of the mountain here as I'm afraid it might leave mental scars on you. Instead, here are two photos to show the strikingly different between 1) Me-Then and 2) Me-Now :(

I keep on saying to myself, "You need to prioritize" and that is what I'm doing. Handling this mess one baby step at a time. I'm sorting them all on a 1-day basis. If No.3 and No.7 are needed the next day, they will be my sole focus for the day. 

Let's just hope I can clear this mess before someone gets hurt!

Yes, I have been hiding for more than 6 months and since life has been pretty hectic (well at least, for some of us) I have made a drastic move; making my blog private!

One out of so many reasons is because of the nasty comments I have been getting. Reason(s)? Well, don't ask me because I'm not very certain either.

and by whom? I can only assume.

But anyhow, I get the message that You're trying to tell me. I don't need to be a genius to figure that one out!

As I said earlier, I only have two hands, I'm juggling with so many things at once; my work, studies, families and those few friends I have. Maybe You don't know this, but my work as well as my studies needs me to stay in focus, at all time.

I'm not cocky or arrogant, but seriously, I have other serious matters to focus on, matters that involve life-and-death, vitally important decision that can cause people's life!!

But You, well You're condemning on too many things and some were my past, personal, very personal things, even I can't control them, anymore -_-

So, to end this twisted and thorny misunderstanding, I have decided after much deliberation, to accept all your advise and use it to the fullest and let's just hope one day I can be a better person. *amin*

Jokes aside, I don't want to pick a fight with You honestly. You are welcome to express whatever you feel and I will decide whether those comments should be approved here, or not. Okay?

It has been such a long time since my last entry here. I know. Many wonderful and not-so-wonderful things have happened since October 2009.

However, it puzzled me too much whenever I log in to this account. Why?

Well, I just couldn't understand why my students came here and left such comments just because of some videos of Britney Spears I uploaded here in MY PERSONAL blog. (see Video 1 and Video 2).

Okay, I apologize for the fact that she was half-naked and oh-so-beautiful that it kills everyone who sees the vid, but why the used of such language? If it's too 18sx for you or if it riled you up so bad, why watch it? You could have just skipped the videos and moved on to the next entries.

(Oh okay, there was no new entry... but You got the point!)

And because of you redneck people out there who have nothing better to do, I am forced to change my comments setting so such vulgar language will not mortify me and other readers/students.

And not just that, I had to permanently delete your comments and rejected some. (not that there were that many)

However, one of the comments managed to get my attention and I'm going to justify it here and not because I have to but because I WANT to.

By uploading such videos makes me a BAD TEACHER? Your heart-rending comments and judgments puzzled me till now...

So I Discovered Something New Today. Hooray, Bravo, Yippee?!!

This morning I bought this (see picture below) as my breakfast since I thought I might need extra energy since I have so many things to settle before going to a meeting at 3pm.

To my surprise, as I'm sipping the chocolate drink using the straw provided, I realized that the liquid was not going as normal as it used to; it did not go straight into my mouth!

Lucky enough for me to realize it just in time for me to cover my mouth using fingers, just enough time to make it stop from covering the essays written by Eliana, a student of mine who has asked me to check her essay (extra).

I stopped sipping and looked at the box and noticed there is something different about the cover and I read the tag-line, which says,
"Sensasi Meletup Straw Edisi Terhad!"

Can you make out the close up picture that shows the new design for the straw? So, what's your opinion?

Salam Ramadhan Al Mubarak To All Muslim

I'm gonna miss eating breakfast in office.

I have been hearing this phrase a couple of time now this week. It seems that everybody has the same idea and now I'm thinking, should I lose some as well?!

Well after all, I did get remark that goes, "Wah Sri, you dah put on weight! Never thought it's possible!" right after they saw my wedding pictures :( Dammit!

But honestly, am I really that fat? It's Ramadhan and I think I should hope for something else rather than perfect-hour-glass-body atau kurang tembam sikit di pipi... huhh~~

So, I come up with a list of things that I really, really hope to happen this Ramadhan.

1. At least a day to break fast with Papa, Mama, Kak Ani, Syah, Abang, Ten Ten and Bear.
   
2. I am determined to bring a Tupperware every time we go and buy kuih at any Bazar Ramadhan in Perlis! Regardless the stares and laughs I'll get huhh~
   
3. I really want to learn and read the Quran from Shapx this year. Guess this is the best time for me to start... Lagipun, Ramadhan ni kurang marah sikit harap nye huhu..
4. Wanna play fireworks with Shapx, Alya, Adam and if have extra can bring them to KL and play with my family plak hehe and Ashraf's family as well :)
5. And finally, I want to bake some cookies for Raya hehe...
   

Among all, I just hope this Ramadhan I get more pahala and forgiveness from God, Parents, Siblings, Husband, Teachers and friends etc for all my wrong doings. Amin.

Huhh~ Married Life Is Hard Work!

You know I have been very busy, right?

As evidence, I have just finished doing the listening questions that I need to submit tomorrow morning. And now it's almost 3:30 in the morning!

Huhh~
Balancing between work, study and personal life are just crazy I tell you. And not to mention that I haven't done a thing for my Master classes; not even read the title for the take home assignment!

Okay, just to let this out of my chest before I go to bed so that I won't have any guilty feelings to bother me later, as I have to wake up early tomorrow (hate morning classes especially at 8am!)...

Hrmm, I went to the movie with Shapx and watched Ice Age 3! It was hilarious and we had such a great time. As we're about to leave, Razip and Ebby arrived with 2 surprise tickets to watch Public Enemies. I mean, who could reject such offer? It's Johnny Depp la, c'mon! Tapi sangat disappointed okay ending dia.

Anyhow, we had fun.

And totally forgot about the Dictionary for Semantics class kan B? adoi. I'm so "lamb chop" la this Thursday =="

Worth all the time in the world watching this even if I'm so gonna get it this Thursday ;D

What It's Like To Be Me...

But honestly, I am!

If only I have:

1. My own laptop instead of this old desktop with this old blinking monitor. Did I mention old twice on two different things? wait, there are two more items. O yes, and this old keyboard and this old mouse. They are VERY OLD, I tell you!

2. Internet access. Hrmm what do you call it? 3G? No, not that one! Ermm.. yes, yes broadband! Yes, I would really like to have that!

3. But even if I do have all these (in which I don't!) I don't think I have the time to post any entry here. So what I would like to have more is time. Possible?

As soon as I got into the office, I turned on the PC and started surfing about them on the net. I looked at both of the official websites and I prefer this one (than this).

Tooth Fairy, Where Are You?

I'm still waiting for this little tooth to come out, so you can come and take my wisdom tooth ...
Hurry up please!

Do I really need a tooth fairy?
Because my tooth doesn't hurt, but my gum is ...

What should I do? :-(

Whenever I eat, food get stuck in the gap, between my bottom left still-growing-wisdom tooth and the gum at the far end of my teeth and it is very painful too.

I have put off this problem for a very long time and I think this can't wait any longer.

I did ask one of my students whom had worked as a dental assistant in a dentist clinic, and her suggestion was to have it removed! I was shocked at hearing this and I thought to myself,

"how the h*** are they going to pull it out
when the tooth is still growing?"

Then she said, "well, normally we do X-ray first"

Okay, X-ray sounds better.

So I did some research on my own and found out that wisdom tooth can be complicated something like:

if the root is touching a nerve it might be very risky to pull it out! if the tooth broke during the extraction this will injure the nerve and I will have permanent pain for my whole entire life ...

I never had any problem with teeth or gum before.

Not even that black thing that people have on their teeth..
